New Energy News Review

China Electric Power Construction Association announced. ((Annual Report on 2013 China Electric Power Construction Industry)):  as of the end of 2013, the nationwide power generation installed capacity reached 1.247 billion KW, ranked the top in the world, and the share for clean energy was more than 30% for the first time.

Shi Lishan, deputy director of New Energies and Renewable Energy Department under the National Energy Administration expressed recently that the project scale in the region where wind-abandon and light-abandon are serious should be controlled. The problem lies in the fact that, in the construction process of new energies, attention has been focused on resources rather than market, which has resulted the issues like surplus in scale, difficulty in sending power out, wind-abandon, and light-abandon.

Separately, as reported by Bloomberg, currently, solar energy industry may face shortage of supply of photovoltaic battery panels, which has reversed the low market resulted from the global surplus in the past two years. The photovoltaic battery panel installations in this year shall rise for 29%, which will cause shortage of photovoltaic battery panel for the first time since 2006.

It is forecasted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that leaping style growth may happen to photovoltaic industry in the second half of this year.  The data released by the Ministry on August 19 shows that the total output value of the photovoltaic industry in China in the first half of this year would exceed 150 billion Yuan.

To cope with the second 'Double-Anti' launched by the U.S. against China, the Ministry of Commerce recently announced to suspend import application for processing trading on the solar energy multi-crystalline silicon from the U.S. and Korea, which has given opportunity to comprehensive upgrading of the photovoltaic industry in China.

National Energy Administration recently brought down the total volume target for the photovoltaic power generation in this year and mulled over policy adjustment. According to the analysis from research institute, distributed photovoltaic power generation shall be significantly pushed forward in the second half of this year, and the installed capacity is expected to reach 5GW.

The new energies automobile output grew rapidly in July. The domestic production of new energies automobile in July, as announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently, shows that the output of new enegies automobile has increased for ten times compare with that of the same time period of last year. According to the statistics, the output of new energies automobile in July was 5799, increased for ten times compare with that of the same time period of last year, and the cumulative output of the new energies automobiles in China from January to July was 25,900, rose for 280% compare with that of the same time period of last year.
