China requires thousands of MWe of new capacity over the next few years. Much of this will be CHP and other forms of DE. What will be your share of this major market?
The 5th International Decentralized Energy (DE) and Combined Heat & Power (CHP) Conference will be jointly organized in Beijing, China on October 27-28, 2004, by the World Alliance for Decentralized Energy (WADE) and the China Electrical Engineering Society Committee on Cogeneration (CSCC).
In addition to presentation sessions, discussions and technical workshops, a separate Exhibition will also be arranged on the conference site for the participating companies to showcase their technologies, products and services. 200-300 participants are expected to attend this conference.
As one of the fastest growing economies in the world, China has maintained an annual growth rate of over 7% over the past decade. China¡¯s power supply has also experienced an unprecedented growth of 10% a year in the same period. To sustain the economic development, China is estimated to require over 30,000 MWe of new capacity each year, much of which will be from CHP and some form of DE systems. Although CHP and DE account only for a small percentage in the total power supply in China today, we believe it will grow rapidly in both percentage and volume, thus creating a huge market potential in China for equipment manufacturers, system integrators and operators as well as investors.
This conference will bring together international and Chinese power/energy developers, financing firms, equipment manufacturers, government officials and decision makers with the objectives of accelerating the development of DE and CHP applications as well as assessing the great market potential for DE and CHP in China. It offers the participants a unique opportunity to:
¡ö Share knowledge and experience
in DE and CHP applications
throughout the world
¡ö Gain crucial information on
China¡¯s power/energy sector and market
development
¡ö Understand China¡¯s national
policies and strategies on power/energy
development
¡ö Develop contacts with Chinese
energy agencies, government officials,
equipment manufacturers, power operators and investors
¡ö Learn how to do business in
China, particularly in the energy sector
¡ö Showcase your technologies,
products and services
