He said: ”Iran has fully abolished oil trading settlement with the US dollar and we have agreed with all our customers on the decision. For oil export in Europe, we rely on Euro as the gauge and in Asia, we take the Japanese yen. ”

Iran’s Oil Minister Nuozhali once announced the cessation of oil export trading settlement with the US dollar in last December. Analysts believe that the \"dedollarization\" process of Iran’s oil trading was once slowed down for various reasons, and now it finally reaches the goal of the complete abolishment of oil trading settlement with the US dollar. 

Faced with intense Iran-US relations and the continuous depreciation of the US dollar, Iran has constantly taken measures to reduce its dependence on the dollar in recent years. Since last year, Iran has gradually cut down crude trading settlement with the US dollar. In addition, Iran has substantially reduced the proportion of the US dollar in its national foreign exchange reserves to weaken the influence of the U.S. economy on Iran\'s economy.
