现任中国煤炭运销协会顾问，教授级高级工程师。曾任中国煤炭运销协会副理事长。长期工作在煤炭行业，主要从事选煤煤质、机械加工、煤炭综采、企业管理、体制改革、煤炭运销等工作，有较丰富的实践经验和理论基础。曾多次组织煤炭市场方面的课题研究，在机械加工、企业标准化、企业管理、煤炭市场研究等方面均有专著。
